Religion may be defined as a means to attain spirituality. A man made creation, people across the world is categorized into different religions. Different religions have different set of practices and beliefs although all of them lead to God or a super natural power. Religion teaches a set of values and prescribes a path for worshipping God or the almighty. Prayers, meditation and rituals are the commonly followed methods for worship. Depending on which religion one belongs to, God is addressed by a different name and has a different form. Great saints and religious leaders have gone on to say that it is only the different paths to attain the same God, with God being presumed to be only one. Hinduism, Christianity and Islam are some of the religions followed by people across the globe. Religion finds its root several thousands of years back in history and is one that has slowly evolved over time.
