Hospitals are medical institutions that provide healthcare facilities of all kinds. From the diagnosis of the disease to providing treatment, a hospital is equipped for all kinds of medical needs. The hospitals however, differ from one another depending on the area they cater to. With some hospitals being small in size there may not be in-patient facility, on the other hand, the big hospitals can cater to both out patients and in-patients. There are hospitals that are highly specialized and thus cater to only a specific area, for instance eye hospitals, cardiac units and so on.
Hospitals must have qualified and expert doctors and trained and capable staff who can attend to the medical requirements as well as provide care to the patients. The medical colleges and other hospitals funded and operated by the Government function generally as a place to treat patients and also train the medical students.
